Privacy Policy

ToolHut is built to run in your browser. For file-based tools (PDF, image, audio), processing happens locally in the page; your files and tool inputs are not uploaded to our servers unless a tool clearly states otherwise.

ToolHut uses minimal cookies/local storage for basic preferences. If ads are enabled, Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies to serve and measure ads. Where required (e.g., EEA/UK), we show a consent banner before loading ad scripts.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is optional and only enabled in production when an environment flag is set. If enabled, we collect only aggregate pageview analytics (no session replay, no user IDs, and no tool inputs). We will keep this page updated with the active provider and purpose.

Separate optional tool-use reporting is disabled until account setup, privacy and release approval. When enabled it sends only fixed tool/outcome labels and stores daily UTC totals in Cloudflare D1, without visitor identifiers or tool inputs. The owner's password-protected web report starts disabled; tools require no login. Read Usage privacy for the exact data, 90-day active-table retention, cleanup/recovery-history limits and a browser opt-out. Cloudflare still processes ordinary hosting, network and security information, including IP addresses, separately from application usage totals.

Do not upload sensitive or confidential files; keep a local copy of your data.
